According to the "Asahi Shimbun" report, at night, the Otaru Canal in Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan looks strangely shining under a string of blue LED lights. Every day, the lantern lights up from sunset and goes out at 22:30. The light-up event will continue until January 31 next year.

It is reported that a total of 10,000 LED lights are decorated in the approximately 300-meter-long section of the river from the Asakusa Bridge across the Otaru Canal to the Central Bridge. The blue light shines on the water, creating a dreamlike atmosphere.

According to reports, the Otaru Canal lighting event is part of the special promotion campaign "Otaru Yoichi Snow Monogatari" organized by the Otaru City and Yoichi Town Tourism Association to attract more tourists. Around the JR Yoichi Station, an "Amber Dream" light show was staged, and the entire block was shrouded in light and shadow similar to the color of whiskey. The light-up activity here will continue until February 14 next year.

In addition, in order to promote "Otaru·Glass Craft Street", JR Otaru Station held a glass craft exhibition. In the tourist product hall of "Canal Plaza", the store also used 2,000 wine glasses to build a beautiful tower, which has attracted much attention.
